Troy McDonald is no longer President of Kenosha Community Media the station that was the first home of The Troy Show on TV.

"I can report that after 2 years of service to Kenosha Community Media I am no longer President or a board officer. I am grateful and honored to have served in the capacity that I did. The Troy Show and other shows I produce have consumed more of my daily time and I was unable to continue my duties as assigned. It was not fair to you the viewer or myself to work in that manner.

The Troy Show on TV and other shows I produce including Back To Basics Wrestling  will continue to air on Kenosha TV Time Warner Cable Channel 15-14 and other platforms to be announced.

I will also continue developing new shows as I am always looking for creative ideas that enlighten viewers to live their ultimate lives. I am grateful for the time I was with KCM and feel blessed to have served Kenosha. I wish the organization the best as it figures out how to adapt in our new digital world."

Bullying Is a pandemic among young people today. It goes beyond the playground and lasts continuously on social media and online. It is embarrassing sometimes for kids to tell their parents that something is wrong. Here are 5 ways you can address it without pushing them away.

Don't make the situation worse than it is
A bullied child wants to feel strong do not remind them how difficult their situation is.

Do not go "Madea" at the School
If you have ever seen Tyler Perry's "Madea" movies you know that she is loud and causes a scene! As tempting as it maybe to run up to the school acting crazy for your children, your child will resent you. The craziness can also make the situation worse. Go professionally and courteously to staff members to solve problems.

Don't expect other parents to agree with you
Everyone hopes that parents can "work it out" but that is simply not the case. In some cases it is the exact opposite. On a past episode of The Troy Show a parent once encouraged the bullying of another student.

Not every sign of bullying is a sign that Your Child is being bullied
Just because your child is late for class or grades drop doesn't necessarily mean that they are being bullied. We encourage you to ask first before assuming its bullying.

Be an active parent
The number one thing a parent can do to allow an open channel for communication is to be an active parent. Excited to learn what they do every day, not just in kindergarten. Loving your child unconditionally is key. Creative an environment where they come to you.

Troy recently spoke at the Gateway Technical College Martin Luther King Jr Event. If you missed his speech, check it out here. Fast forward to about the 27 minute mark.

My company TMC Media Enterprises has teamed up with local wrestling federation Back To Basics Wrestling to produce a weekly show called "BTBW Adrenaline." Here are 5 reasons why I know you'll love the show.

Tune in to BTBW Adrenaline on Time Warner Cable Kenosha Channel 14 Fridays at 6:30pm and Saturday mornings at 10:00am!

1. Its similar to WWE
If you have ever loved the "WWE" (formerly known as the WWF), then you will LOVE BTBW Adrenaline.

2. It is drama personified
Friends turn on friends, enemies try to one up each other. From the locker room to the ring you never know what drama lies ahead..and who will be the victim.

3. Its family friendly with attitude
BTBW Adrenaline is family friendly but it has spunk. If you remember Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock you'll love the characters on BTBW.

4. You never know whats going to happen
Surprises are abound on Adrenaline. You never know what will happen next and you will be glued every second.

5. They love their fans
BTBWrestling has been holding fan meet and greets before it was cool. BTBW has always put their fans first using social media to keep in touch with fans...and haters.

Its almost the middle of January and by now most of us have changed or modified our goals for the New
Year. It doesn't have to be this way. Here are 5 simple ways to stick to your resolutions once and for all.

1. Create Reasonable goals

The number one reason goals fail is because people do not create reasonable goals. You can't loose 50 pounds in 2 weeks. Set a goal of 1-3 lbs a week and go from there.

2. Don't let others create your goals

Many people make their goals based on what family and friends expect of them. That is a big no-no. Never allow others to tell you how to life your life. You wont succeed.

3. Have an accountability partner

Have your best friend or spouse hold you accountable for your actions. They will be honest and real with you and want you to succeed just as much as you do.

4. Consistency is the best policy

Sometimes its not the most extreme workout that wins the race, its simply being consistent. Agreeing to do the work to get to your goal and staying motivated will get you that much closer to success.

5. Create a reward system

Make working out or goal setting like a game. If you workout three days a week for two hours allow yourself to buy a certain item. The bigger the goal the bigger the reward.

If you haven't engaged with the The Troy Show before, now might be a good time. It is Indeed Christmas! Here are 5 ways to make this Christmas the best ever.

1: Don't Blame Santa
Don't get angry about something that was supposed to happen. We often set such high expectations for Christmas that we never live up to them. Let it be.

2: Take family photos
Take tons of photos. Remember that today is about the feeling and emotion as well as the gift.

3. Cook early
Mamma always said it best "start cooking with the kids get up!" The day will pass you buy before you know it.

4. Don't let family bother you
We all have That relative. Don't let them bother you. Step away, take deep breaths, or as Troy Show lifestyle expert Kathy Andersen said in season one, confront them peacefully.

5: Realize the true meaning of the holidays
The True meaning of the holidays is so much bigger than an iPad air. whatever you believe, take a moment to let that energy take hold of you. Appreciate your blessings.

Its easy to get depressed and feel like the weight of the world is on your shoulders. No matter what you are going through you DESERVE to be happy.

1. Start a new project

Paint a picture, or fix a problem area in your house. Sometimes all you need to do to get out of a stooper, is to just DO something.

2: Someone has it worse than you

People in the Philippines, Africa and others have no running water or electricity. Thinking about the blessing you have in compassion will make you happy and blessed.

3:  Create a daily list of goals

Create a list of goals that you want to accomplish that day. It could be cleaning your kitchen or organizing a bedroom. The sense of accomplishment in itself once you finish should brighten your day.

4: Find the lesson in your unhappiness

Life wants you to learn. That's why things happen so we can grow from them. Ask yourself, What am I to learn from this? By learning the lesson you can begin to change your life and be happier.

5: Appreciate the small things

Did you know that just by reading this your living on earth! What an amazing feat. Cherish the fact that you can read this page! Appreciate the everyday tasks that some take for granted.

Its almost here the time when people go crazy, and the price of the iPhone you've wanted all year is drastically reduced.  Here are the top 5 tips to make sure you have a safe and sane Black Friday shopping experience.

1: Get a plan together

Running into retailers without a plan on Black Friday is like running into a car accident head on. The swarms of people will be overwhelming. Make a list of items that you want and stick to those items. You cant grab everything.

2: Get other family and friends to go

Once you know what you want, Create a strategic plan with family and friends. They can help you stake out areas that you can't be in, and will more often then not be shopping for themselves anyways.

3: Shop at the store a day or two ahead of time

Go to the store before hand and learn the layout of where things will be. Will things change on Black Friday? Of Course! However surveying the area will be very helpful. A lot of stores have their doorbuster deal boxes already placed. (Some of the best deals are in the back of the store, or away from cash registers.)

4: Don’t go crazy

No item is ever worth killing or hurting anyone for. This may sound silly, But how many people intend to go crazy on Black Friday? Sometimes it just happens. Keep your emotions in check.

5: Remember the real reason of the holidays

Remember the real reason of the holidays is to spread love and cheer to our loved ones. No gift can compensate for the love and attention they need.

Happy Shopping!
