It feels so foreign posting on here. I have barely touched this site since May of 2015, when after 4 years, I ended the Troy Show. I have updated the site for a school project. So if the trimmings look different, that is why. I would never blatantly post my resume online!  The archives are still here. Just search for a specific topic or guest and it will pop up.

The task of the class was to include my best work. You'll find Troy Show episodes, Speeches, and poetry that best solidifies my truest strength. I am a story teller. I want you to feel an emotion. If I have to open my heart for you to feel better about your day, than so be it.

That is the common thread throughout this portfolio. My willingness to be open, and honest about myself and the world. It is an acquired taste, not everyone can handle my tone. It works for me and I believe is an asset to any team looking to grow to the next level.

I highly encourage you to check out the interview with Palmer Williams Jr and of course the President of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network Sheri Salata. These highlight the best and worst part of The Troy Show. At its best the show made you feel better about yourself. At its worst it served as a way for me to try to be the next Oprah Winfrey. Also check out "Orange Tint." It's an emotional story about how I overcame being homeless at one point. Its one of the best, most raw things i've ever done.

This portfolio is a reminder of what I was able to do at such a young age and how U.W. Stout  is preparing me for my future.

I look forward to the next chapter of my life!

This past summer before Adele blazed the charts and before Justin Bieber got nude, another headline sparked the world. Taylor Swift and Rapper Nicki Minaj got into a little tiff. Nicki was upset that black artists were under represented at in the "Video of The Year" category at the MTV Video Music Awards. Taylor clapped back on Twitter creating a firestorm.

The issue was bigger than Taylor Swift or Nicki Minaj. At the heart of it, there is a big a racial divide on Twitter as their is in the real world.

Thanks for clicking.

After 4 years, I have decided to end The Troy Show.

Literally every week of my adult life I've spent with you. I was podcasting before it was cool! However the time has come for me to move on and do something new in my life.

I have truly enjoyed every moment that I've shared over the past few years. I have grown so much. I hope we all took something away from this experience.

I will keep the site up for those who want to listen to past episodes or read certain things.

I want to thank all the guests that took a chance on me. Sheri Salata the President of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, WWE Hall of Famers Booker T and Trish Stratus, producer of the daytime talk show "The Real" Sally Ann Salsano and so many others. Your stories inspired me.

For those of you who did listen, whether it be once or every week, It meant the world to me! I sincerely appreciated your time.

There comes a time in life when you have to let go. The pain isn't in the letting go, its in the fear of the unknown. I don't know whats next for me. However, I do know that I will be OK.

They say the only prayer and words of wisdom ever needed are Thank you.

So from the bottom of my heart

Thank you,

Cactus Jack AKA Mick Foley falling through barbed wired and glass
Its the early 90's and a young wrestler named Mick Foley was trying to make a name for himself. He was given what is called a test or "dark match" on the now defunct World Championship Wrestling. He was wrestling the Stiener Brothers who were known to be aggressive in the ring. During the match Mick dove from the ring and hit and elbow onto concrete. Something never attempted before.

WCW Employee Arn Anderson went up to him and asked what kind of "sense" that made to risk his body for the fans like that. Foley replied "because I have no dollars."

Mick Foley exemplifies what the wrestling business is all about. What does Triple H, Brock Lesnar, The Briscoe Brothers, Adam Cole, Randy Orton, John Cena, Seth Rollins, Mick Foley, wrestling fans and countless others have in common. They are all tougher than Floyd Mayweather.

No doubt about it he is a draw. Floyd will make $120,000.000 from one nights worth of work.  I refused to watch. Floyd doesn't give a damn about you. The "fight of the century" was never about your entertainment but rather lining the fighters pocket book.

Very few WWE superstars and wrestlers get into the business for the money. If they do, they usually don't last. And as fans we appreciate it and notice that.. Hell, the WWE has worked almost two years to get Roman Reigns over. It is starting to work because fans see he is WORKING FOR IT. Being pushed today, is the proverbial kiss of death.

Most WWE stars start off in it was called the "indies" where most wrestlers don't get paid and wrestle in front of 15-20 people a night because they LOVE IT. I spoke to one insider who said some get paid in nothing more than a "hot dog and a handshake." Its not about the money or the fame. They love performing for YOU.

The sorry and old argument that WWE is fake is as tired and gassed out as Al Snow after a 10 minute match. Triple H tore his quads and STILL wrestled after only 8 months of rehab. Unheard of by sports standards. Mick Foley lost an ear. (pictured below)  Rey Mysterio Jr. has had surgery 5-6 times on his knees and unfortunately killed a man in the ring.
The outcomes are predetermined, but the risks of death
Mick Foley smiling after his ear was severed
and serious injury are just as real as boxing.

Floyd Mayweather would never box in front of 20 people without millions on the line. Neither would Hulk Hogan. The difference is the performance is not about the Hulkster even at this late stage. With 100,000 people expected at WrestleMania 32 everybody on that card will want to impress YOU! Its about excelling and pushing physical limits for OUR entertainment.

It doesn't bother me that Mayweather is rich. It bothers me that he does it flaunting it in our face. Because he doesn't give a DAMN. You've been duped, bamboozled. You can't ask for your money back. Mayweather has probably already spent it.

If your not a fan, I encourage you to watch Monday Night Raw on USA network tonight and see the guys HUSTLING for your entertainment. Watch Ring of Honor on the weekends, Reality of Wrestling or one of the many other alternatives to the WWE machine. The business runs on YOU and not just your money.

I wish I could say the same for Floyd Mayweather.

Can you believe its been 3 years since the debut of Troy Show? It seems like just yesterday I began this journey with all of you. I have been blessed to talk to news makers, controversial Access Hollywood to get the latest gossip on the Oscars and we teamed up with Yahoo! to reveal the biggest searches of the
figures, and celebrities. This past season we went behind the scenes with
year.

We did things a little bit differently than in the past and things grew tremendously. I went on a 30 day challenge to loose weight and I am proud to report that I have stuck too it. If you were to have told me that I would be out every Saturday morning with the "exercise people" I would have said no way.

If there was one thing I learned in season two it is to NEVER say "no way." After two years of trying to make it work, I had a sit down interview with the President of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network Sheri Salata. It was our biggest interview to date in my opinion. Who can forget Palmer Williams Jr. from the hit OWN show "Love thy Neighbor?" He was one of my faves as well.

I am excited to see what season 3 brings on The Troy Show. This season we are gonna break loose a little bit. Let's make a date ok? How does September 15th sound? I think you'll find that there's a whole lot of life's lessons still to learn. The party has just begun!

Sincerely,

For most people wining a championship or a medal is a rare occasion. Its a moment to be celebrated and cherished forever. Carissa Moore is an exception to that. 2 time World Championship Surfer Carissa Moore is here!

Carissa shares her secrets to success and how she stays in top shape all year long. How does she handle the shark infested waters of being in a male dominated world? Carissa speaks candidly in this all new Troy show.
