It feels so foreign posting on here. I have barely touched this site since May of 2015, when after 4 years, I ended the Troy Show. I have updated the site for a school project. So if the trimmings look different, that is why. I would never blatantly post my resume online!  The archives are still here. Just search for a specific topic or guest and it will pop up.

The task of the class was to include my best work. You'll find Troy Show episodes, Speeches, and poetry that best solidifies my truest strength. I am a story teller. I want you to feel an emotion. If I have to open my heart for you to feel better about your day, than so be it.

That is the common thread throughout this portfolio. My willingness to be open, and honest about myself and the world. It is an acquired taste, not everyone can handle my tone. It works for me and I believe is an asset to any team looking to grow to the next level.

I highly encourage you to check out the interview with Palmer Williams Jr and of course the President of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network Sheri Salata. These highlight the best and worst part of The Troy Show. At its best the show made you feel better about yourself. At its worst it served as a way for me to try to be the next Oprah Winfrey. Also check out "Orange Tint." It's an emotional story about how I overcame being homeless at one point. Its one of the best, most raw things i've ever done.

This portfolio is a reminder of what I was able to do at such a young age and how U.W. Stout  is preparing me for my future.

I look forward to the next chapter of my life!

This past summer before Adele blazed the charts and before Justin Bieber got nude, another headline sparked the world. Taylor Swift and Rapper Nicki Minaj got into a little tiff. Nicki was upset that black artists were under represented at in the "Video of The Year" category at the MTV Video Music Awards. Taylor clapped back on Twitter creating a firestorm.

The issue was bigger than Taylor Swift or Nicki Minaj. At the heart of it, there is a big a racial divide on Twitter as their is in the real world.

Thanks for clicking.

After 4 years, I have decided to end The Troy Show.

Literally every week of my adult life I've spent with you. I was podcasting before it was cool! However the time has come for me to move on and do something new in my life.

I have truly enjoyed every moment that I've shared over the past few years. I have grown so much. I hope we all took something away from this experience.

I will keep the site up for those who want to listen to past episodes or read certain things.

I want to thank all the guests that took a chance on me. Sheri Salata the President of OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, WWE Hall of Famers Booker T and Trish Stratus, producer of the daytime talk show "The Real" Sally Ann Salsano and so many others. Your stories inspired me.

For those of you who did listen, whether it be once or every week, It meant the world to me! I sincerely appreciated your time.

There comes a time in life when you have to let go. The pain isn't in the letting go, its in the fear of the unknown. I don't know whats next for me. However, I do know that I will be OK.

They say the only prayer and words of wisdom ever needed are Thank you.

So from the bottom of my heart

Thank you,
