Things that make you go “Hmmmmm”

Ok, below I will briefly talk about some topics that have made me go “Hmmmm” here of late. These arguments are not meant to in anyway be a partisan rub-a-dub, but rather issues that I personally feel are just a tad bit ridiculous if they are really thought about rather than be used as a way to bolster a political parties bargaining power with ‘John-Q-public’.
1: The Mob at Town Hall Meetings:
This situation is completely sad. first of all let me clear up some issues that really chap my hide. I have read article 1233 of the House Reform Provision and I will attempt to break it down here now so that even the ‘friggin cheap seats’ can see it more clearly for what it actually does represent.
There seems to be a claim that health care reform will create “death panels”, (in Sarah Palin’s words), that will somehow create a situation where the Goverment will somehow determine when an elderly person would be put to death in some manner because it doesn’t want to pay for their care any longer. It’s a complete fabrication of course. The provision requiring that Medicare pay for voluntary end-of-life counseling was introduced by Senator Johnny Isakson, Republican, yes Republican of Georgia, who says that it’s “nuts” to claim that it has anything to do with euthanasia.
Ex-Governor Sarah Palin, as well as Newt Gingrich, were all for “advance directives” for medical care in the event that you are incapacitated or comatose. That’s exactly what is being proposed. I am a US Army Veteran and I, as well as any other Veterans or military personnel, can tell you that we are offered “Advance directives” too. All this option means is that you have the oportunity, IF YOU SO CHOOSE, to receive counsel from a doctor or nurse practitioner to relay your wishes regarding critical care or hospice care should the situation arise, so that no one, especially your family members or doctors, would have to guess what your wishes are if you should become say, comatose, or terminally ill and have a loss of you mental capacities. However, all the mobs at the Town Hall Meetings are being loud and obnoxious in their ignorance of this fact. They obviously haven’t taken the time to investigate or even wait to be correctly informed. It’s turned into just basically disruption & talking points to discredit our President and his goal to insure everyone. Being insured should be a right and not a privilege in this country. The reform provision also does not have an article in it to insure illegal aliens, as it has so falsely been claimed. The bill does not have options for sponsoring abortions, again like it has been falsely claimed. The insurance companies stand to lose billions of dollars if a “public health option” is passed. They have used lobbyist to spread money around to provide this misinformation and confusion so that the real facts of this bill get cluttered. I saw one couple arguing in one of the meetings that didn’t even have health care. They were just arguing because the bill is being proposed by the democratic party and a President that they don’t want to support. Is this productive? Can people really look at themselves in the mirror and actually believe that the President of the United States wants to put old people to death? Oh, by the way, CONGRESS AND THE SENATE HAVE GOVERMENT RUN HEALTHCARE!
”Hmmmmm….”
2: The weakness that is the Democratic backbone.
The democratic leaders have not done a good enough job of spreading the facts regarding the house healthcare reform bill. Because of this lack of direction, all types of misinformation has had it’s chance to be born. The sad point is, even when it was determined how much bullshit was actually being spread by radical conservatives, the powers that be in the democratic party acted like deer in the headlights and cowered at the fact that they were being bullied. That’s not leadership! I cannot faithfully follow someone or a party that cannot even stick to the guns that they themselves have loaded. It makes no sense. There are no “jedi mind tricks” that the President can conjure to un-ring the bell of perceived weakness. The conservatives smell blood in the water and know now that they can win the battle of a smear campaign against a party that actually has control of the house. It’s ludicrous.
“Hmmmmm…”.
3: Firearms at Town Hall Meetings:
Can anyone really believe that the several people carrying guns and assault rifles to a venue that the President of the United States is present at productive? The argument they convey is that they are enforcing their right to bear arms. In the history of Presidential gatherings there has not been one instance of people carrying loaded weapons to the event without the President being shot at or killed. Do you think that had the Secret Service seen Lee Harvey Oswald walking around with a rifle before even getting into the Book Depository President Kennedy would still be alive? Would Reagan have been shot if a gunman was seen walking around with a loaded weapon before he walked out to his vehicle? To allow individuals to do it now is idiotic. This is a receipe for tragedy. If President Obama was assasinated it would tear this country apart. There would be worldwide racial riots. Has anyone thought this far out? What happens if some minority groups go to a conservative senators gathering with some weapons? Would it be as welcomed or tolerated? If I wanted to express my right to freedom of having sex, should I go to a Town Hall Meeting with my dick out? The funny part is, President Obama hasn’t attempted to alter any gun laws at all. His stance is no different than President Bush’s was. To have loaded weapons in such close proximity to a sitting President is inherently dangerous. Racial wars can be started that way ladies and gentlemen.
“Hmmmmm”.
4: Pyscho babble:
There are so many people now seemingly convinced that they are somehow losing their country to “Socialism”.
HELLO!!!!! Medicare is socialized medicine. Veterans and military health care is socilaized medicine. SSI is socialism. These are goverment run programs people. All the elderly people complaining now should opt out of their medicare programs immediately. I’d hate for you to be communist right? All the complainers that happen to be receiving SSI benefits should opt out right? Have your family and friends that are on SSI or Medicare remove themselves from it so that they cannot be considered as helping to take away the country. By the way, did I mention that President Obama did not invent SSI or Medicare? I wish people would wake up. What happens if you get what you’re asking for? Do you know where your conscience begins and ends? Oh, and to the remaining “birthers” out there, “GROW THE FUCK UP”!!
“Hmmmmm”.
I guess that’s it for now. I’m sure that radicals will disagree but that’s what so great about our country. They can. Also, I don’t believe that all conservatives have this point of view. Just the ones that are being blatanly televised. I believe that the democrats should just pass the reform bill on their own and people can watch their premiums drop and the uninsured insured while the radicals continue to babble.
As usual, that’s just my opinion. However, If you do think I’m wrong, please leave a comment of substance and not just a talking point. That’s the problem now in my belief. Partisanship replacing actual fact.
Is it too late for love?

I will start this post with thanks to all my readers out there. I appreciate your comments.
I am randomizing here because I have been told that it is a great way to help yourself learn how to be a writer.
With that said, I guess I should stay away from political topics here because I like to report and discuss facts rather than just spitballing.
I didn’t have a clue as to what I was going to write about here. What I will do is write about what I’m thinking about and feeling right now.
Let’s talk about love. I am still not 100% convinced that I have really been in love with a woman. This hypothetical does not include family members. I know that I have cared deeply for some women. I mean hell, I’ve been married twice. I’m just not sure that what I had with them was true love. I know that I am ready for it. I’m not going to seek it though. I want the love and romance scenario that I see happen to others or that you see on TV or movies. Is that asking too much? Do I deserve it? I mean, the statements that I made earlier in this post theorectically could disqualify me from the “give this brotha a break“ category. I am prepared to earn the love of my life. I sometimes wonder if I’ve met or seen her already and I missed it. I hate that thought but I just can’t seem to shake it either. Wow, that’s just another brick in the wall huh? Now I’m being paranoid though. That’s just what the average woman wants right? A paranoid loved starved lunatic. Oops, I digresss…. back to my fantasy. You people are getting me off track.
I remember being so frivalous & egotistical in my earlier years. So I also wonder if “karma” has caught up to me. Remind you now, I was never rude, disrespectful or bullish to any women. However, I must admit that I thought that I was “Dash Riprock” for a long time. Has karma now made it my legacy to never find love? Have the books been settled in the fictional love court? I hate the thought. I must have faith. I look at the positives I have going for me. I think I am marginally handsome, I am honest, I have an industrial strength humorous side. I’m a single father, a good son and brother. Would that be enough? I hope I’m not coming off as too needy here? That’s not it at all. I guess I’m just curious as to whether the fairy tale ever comes through for men as well.
Ok, everyone can dry their eyes now. I’m almost running out of random thoughts here and I don’t want to cheat the process by taking a break. This is pretty fun though. I suggest to any new writers like myself to give it a try and be brave enough to just go ahead and post it. Just in case this sucks though, I’d like to phone a friend….. Oops, there it goes again. Sometimes I just can’t keep my mouth shut. I wonder if that has come into play in my quest to be the only un loved man. I guess time will tell. Sometimes I just can’t get a hold on my Add. I believe that I have a totally new strain of that disease. I hope there is still a chance for me.
If this post has saddened or touched you in anyway… Please send $19.99 to “Get this brother a date” reality show starting this Fall.
This is definitely just my opinion, I could be wrong. (Or just screwed, your call)
It’s time to come clean.

Let me start by saying that I am not a conservative. I don’t even know if I am a democrat at this point. I am definitely not an independent. I am just an individual of the United States of America right now trying to do the best that I can. I have friends that are conservative, democrat and independent. With that said….
I think now is the time for all radical or ultra whatever conservatives to come clean on their thoughts and feelings regarding the race of the President of the United States. Now I don’t want to call anyone a racist. In some exchanges I have had with conservatives, whether it be via social media or in person, they always come back with “…how come anytime someone says anything about this President, they always have to be a racist?” OK, let’s take racism off the table then. How about we just have honest and intelligent dialog of the explanations regarding the following list of the latest tidbits of conservative complaints.
1: Republican Congressman Thaddeus McCotter has drafted a resolution that he has now put to committee for Congress to vote on a bill to force President Obama to apologize to Cambridge police officer Crowley for Obama’s statement to wit ”The Cambridge Police acted stupidly”. I repeat, “The Cambridge Police acted stupidly”. That statement absolutely did not name Officer Crowley. I believe that even the most radical conservatives will obviously agree that Professor Gates should not have been arrested. Officer Crowley stated in his report that he arrested Professor Gates because he was yelling and being a little unruly. However, the released recording from the police cruiser, as well as the police report from another officer on the scene, showed no evidence of Professor Gates being unruly. Also, the Cambridge Police Department filed no charges against Gates. They did in fact issue an apology to Professor Gates for the entire incident…..I’m refering to the period from the dispatcher call to the arrest itself. The President still thought it best to speak with Officer Crowley and Professor Gates personally and invited them both to come to the White house “for beer”. The President also held another short press conference where he stated that he could have used different terminology in regards to his comments about the incident. Was that enough for the conservative right? Apparently not. Congressman McCotter and several other Republican Congtressman are still moving forward with their resolution. Why? Not because he’s the first Black President….. right?
2: Several Republican senators and congressmen offered media sound bites and talking points fanning a flame of hate and ignorance by questioning whether or not President Obama is actually a US citizen and whether or not he was born in the United States. It has gotten so rampant that that the President had his staff get a copy of his birth certificate, his hospital of birth record, as well as the original birth notice from the newspaper of the city he was born in and had all that information posted on several different news channels. Wasn’t that enough? No, not for the right-wingers! Still the House went ahead and passed a resolution honoring the 50th anniversary of Hawaii becoming a state, as well as confirming that President Obama was indeed born there. It passed 378 votes to zero. The reason that this vote is so hypocritical is that many of the Republicans that voted yes unanimously in that resolution were the same ones that fanned the controversy via television and radio and on the House floor with talking points. Did they really believe that President Obama’s mother, father, grandmother, and also the hospital and city newspaper, had the incredible forsight to forge his birth certificate, hospital records and newspaper notice with the hope that some day he might run for President. It’s absurd…..right? Again I ask, why? It’s not because their racists right?
3: “Boss” Rush Limbaugh has repeatedly verbalized his hopes that President Obama is “doomed to failure”. Can you grasp that?….to actually wish that the President of your country fails? Does that help the country? “Boss” Limbaugh has a reported 20 million viewers a day. That is a lot of people to influence. He constantly questions the President’s patriotism, citizenship, religious beliefs, and whether or not he’s a racist or reverse racist. He constantly degrades Judge Sonia Sotomayor and makes jokes regarding her heritage and latina affiliations. He even said, ala Ricky Ricardo, that she “….had some splainin’ to do….”. Why? He doesn’t fan these flames of hate or separatism because he’s a racist, right? Then why does he do it? Is there any reasonably sane person that could say that race isn’t the driving force behind his comments? Really? Look in the mirror America! There’s a quote from one of my favorites movies that I would like to run by you. In the movie “The Godfather”, the Don says to this gangster (Solozzo) who wanted the Don to finance his drug venture, “It makes no difference to me what a man does to make a living”. I live by that same type of credo. It even extends to how someone feels about race. It makes no difference to me how a person feels about race. You can be either a card carrying stone cold racist, a closet racist, a part time racist or just someone who just isn’t ready for the United States to have a Black President. I don’t really care. I mean, you are already in the minority now. To me, that’s progress. My things is ADMIT IT ALREADY!!!! Why beat around the bush? Why lie? Why play partisan games? Can’t you stick up for your beliefs? If you can say it in private, why can’t you say it out front? Until you can, how can you expect even your followers to put any credence in what you say? Please listen to me carefully here folks. As an African American for 100% of my life, I am very accustomed to the fact that racism is real and it still exists in America. However, it is slowly but ever so slowly evaporating and it will continue to do so. Get onboard and at least have the courage to state your stance and stand by it and stand your ground if you must. The United States affords you the right to freedom of thought and speech. Don’t hide behind inuendos and bullshit talking points.
As usual:
That’s just my opiniion, I could be wrong.
To Torture or not to Torture.

I going to start this post with a basic dialog of the Rules of War;
Specifically Prisoners of War:
The difference between an ordinary criminal and a prisoner of war is important. An ordinary criminal may be detained, prosecuted, and punished in accordance with the domestic criminal laws of the country in which the crime is committed. A conventional soldier who is captured by the enemy must be humanely treated in accordance with the international rules of war. Under these rules prisoners of war are required to give their captors only enough information for identification, such as name, rank, serial number, and date of birth. Captors may not torture prisoners to extract information from them nor subject prisoners to punishment without first complying with specific legal procedures.
Under the rules of war, prisoners of war may not be punished for wrongs committed by the armed forces to which they belong, and medical and scientific experiments upon prisoners are forbidden. Captors must provide prisoners with sufficient food and beverages to maintain good health, and adequate standards of clothing, housing, sanitation, and hygiene are prescribed. To encourage accountability, captors are required to disclose the names of prisoners to the belligerent for which they were fighting when captured.
Now having said all that. I want to tell you a short story. I will not reveal the source of this story for reasons that will be obvious as I continue.
In 1985 there was a DEA Agent that was killed in Mexico named Kiki Camarena. This murder was the incident that catapulted the US into “The War on Drugs” era, & into high gear. Nancy Reagan started a very high profile campaign. Now, to the average American smoking some weed, freebasing a pipe, snorting some coke or shooting some heroin, this didn’t mean a whole lot. However, to a Special Forces/Operations Soldier, this was a life altering experience.. Members of Special Forces Groups and Teams were being deployed to different areas of the World in attempts to slow down/stop the influx of drugs coming into this Country. For one particular squad this was about to be a pivotal point in their lives.
This group was deployed to South America. The mission was to burn coca fields that they were given the “grid coordinates” to.
When you are dropped into the Columbian jungle with a specific grid coordinate under the cloak of darkness and no Congressional approval/oversight, you are there in complete secrecy. Now you must remember, there was no Fox News and CNN smothering every Military action back then. A secret mission was just that, secret. There also comes with that specific rules of engagment that they were assigned to follow. I won’t get into to much specificty here, but let’s just say that in this type of capacity you only fire when fired upon. This allows you to hopefully complete the mission without collateral damage that then needs to be explained. Now back to the jungle. This patrticular squad while executing their mission were surrounded by Colombian rebels and taken hostage. The rebels did not fire when approaching, however, their numbers were too geat for the 7 man squad to engage. While being held the squad members were tortured for the purpose of revealing what the next times and grid coordinates were for the coca fields that were targeted. Now because the Operations Control Center always assumes nothing, each squad was given one set of grid coordinates at a time. This meant that no matter how intense the torture was, the squad members had no real answers for the torturers. In Military speak, that means that the rebels got no actionable intelligence thru the torture. This is the essence of why torture des not work and has no guarantees. The squad was held there for 7 days before being extracted by a British Commando Team that I will not name here today.
I guess the moral of this story is that no matter how long you torture, or the method of torture, you are more likely to get false information than anything that will solve your reasons for the torture. Not to mention that you now put bulleyes on anyone of your particular comrades if they are captured or held hostage.
I know that there are many members of the Bush Administration and even some of their follower who look at this subject rather trivially. I am here to tell you that there is nothing trivial about it. So before you agree with Cheney and Boss Limabaugh and the like minded, think very carefully.
Republican or Democrat, the Moral Dilemma.

I want to start this post by saying that I have friends that are Republican and Democratic. I also have friends that are Independent. They all love their families and are good citizens. I guess that is why we are friends regardless of our differences in politics. I am a US Army Veteran so I am not a bleeding heart that is naive to the terrors of this World, nor am I judgmental to those who see those terrors with vigor and outspokenness. I am a critic of hypocrites though. This is where I draw a line in the sand. In the wake of the killing of the abortion doctor and the killing of the museum guard, I have done some researching. I read a few conservative websites and I even listened to Boss Limbaugh, Hannity and Fox and Friends. To this extent I even looked up the word “morality”. The reason I looked this word up is because I have come to the conclusion that some people seem to think that in order to have true morals you must be Republican. If you aren’t, then that means you kill babies, you’re naive to what it takes to protect the Country, you’re soft on crime, etc.
Websters definition of “Morals”:
1 a: of or relating to principles of right and wrong in behavior : ethical <moral judgments> b: expressing or teaching a conception of right behavior <a moral poem> c: conforming to a standard of right behavior d: sanctioned by or operative on one’s conscience or ethical judgment <a moral obligation> e: capable of right and wrong action <a moral agent>2: probable though not proved : virtual <a moral certainty>3: perceptual or psychological rather than tangible or practical in nature or effect <a moral victory> <moral support>
Kennon Sheldon, a University of Missouri professor, compared the “extrinsic” values (financial success, status, appearance) with “intrinsic” values (growth, intimacy, helping) of self-declared Democrats and Republicans.
Previous theory in moral decision making suggested that if people are guided by protected values, values that equate to rules like ‘do no harm’, they may focus on the distinction between acting/doing harm versus not acting/allowing harm, paying less attention to consequences. People who make choices based on these values, thus show “quantity insensitivity” relative to people without protected values for a given situation.
Where do we identify the different party distinctions regarding morals? Let’s look at a prime example:
Stem Cell Research:
Democrats want the government to use federal funds to help research what stem cells can do in terms of finding cures to cancer, Parkinson’s disease, and diabetes (to name a few possibilities) regardless of their source. Republicans do not want to use federal funds, because most stem cells come from test tube embryos. And this would be the equivalent to the murder of thousands.
Could it somehow be that there is a higher moral ground we could take in the process? Does there have to be? Do Democrats want to kill children? I have a 12 year old son and I believe in stem cell research. Let’s see, do I choose research or child killing? Once again morals come into play, right?
Let’s look at gay rights. Where do we go here? Republican morality would have us say that gays and lesbians should not marry, or have federal benefits for same sex partners, particularly federal employees. Democratic morals vary a bit on the subject. I couldn’t fathom marrying a man, however, I will not force my thought process or particular moralistic value on anyone else. The beauty of the word “morals” makes that decision for me.
I’m not gonna preach at you. However, what I will do is provide you a list of some moralistic stands that have been made by some conservatives over the years. The information provided below is public information and is available to anyone. When I hear too many conservatives getting adamant about their values, I refer them to this list:

This information doesn’t mean that some Democrats or Independents don’t commit ignorant, self serving heinous crimes. I just don’t hear much preaching from that side of the car.
That’s just my opinion, I could be wrong.
Who can you trust? Really…

Ola, my friends, It’s me. The one “radicals” love to hate. I list below some facts that some people fail to realize. I write below some history and qualifications of President Obamas most outspoken critics and President Obama himself. You be the judge as to who to logically put more stock into.
Rush Hudson Limbaugh III:
Born January 12, 1951. Limbaugh is the host of The Rush Limbaugh Show.
This gaseous “self proclaimed” recovering dope fiend spouts antagonistic verbal graffiti on a daily basis. His “hypothetical” brand of fear mongering, race baiting and separatist diarrhea has gone on for over 20 years. Let’s take a look at some of Rush’s background:
Limbaugh graduated from Cape Central High School, in 1969. His father and mother wanted him to attend college, so he enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University. He dropped out after two semesters and one summer; according to his mother, “he flunked everything”, even a modern ballroom dancing class. As she told a reporter in 1992, “He just didn’t seem interested in anything except radio.”
Boss Limbaugh skated out on the Vietnam draft lottery because his birth date ranked him 175 in the draft lottery. No one was drafted above 125. He was classified as “1-Y” (later reclassified “4-F”) due to either a football knee injury or a diagnosis of Pilonidal disease.
The “Boss” said that Colin Powell endorsed Barack Obama because he is black. I listened to a few Fox News commentators rumble on that Rush’s statements were not racially motivated. Is that so? Let’s take a look at some prolific Rush Limbaugh quotes from his radio show and you be the judge as to where his psyche really “lies”.
A - “I mean, let’s face it, we didn’t have slavery in this country for over 100 years because it was a bad thing. Quite the opposite: slavery built the South. I’m not saying we should bring it back; I’m just saying it had its merits. For one thing, the streets were safer after dark”.
Babe, slavery was not a good thing for the millions of African Americans who were enslaved, raped and beaten. The streets weren’t at all safe for African Americans. Slavery not a bad thing? Apparently this is an issue that Rush feels that can be frivolously tweaked to fit his current daily agenda.
B - “You know who deserves a posthumous Medal of Honor? James Earl Ray [the confessed assassin of Martin Luther King]. We miss you, James. Godspeed”.
You ever used to watch the cartoons in the morning where the cartoon character is shocked or surprised at something and his eyes will shoot out of his head about a foot past his body. There you go.
Limbaugh has called Obama a ‘halfrican American’ & has said that Obama was not black but Arab because Kenya is an Arab region, even though Arabs are less than one percent of Kenya. Since mainstream America has become more accepting of African-Americans, Limbaugh has decided to play against its new racial fears, Arabs and Muslims. Despite the fact Obama graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law school, Limbaugh has called him an ‘affirmative action candidate.’ Limbaugh even has repeatedly played a song on his radio show ‘Barack the Magic Negro’, using an antiquated Jim Crow era term for black a man who many Americans supported for President.
Now the fact that Sarah Palin has appeared on Rush Limbaugh’s Radio Show, does that constitute her as “Palling around with racists”? One of the most amazing facts of all this to me is the fact that some Republicans and Limbaugh sympathizers really believe that he is not racist. He’s just extending his really fair right to free speech. My retort:
See Reverend Wright.
Sean Patrick Hannity:
Born December 30, 1961. He is an American radio and television host, author, and conservative political commentator. Hannity graduated in 1980 from St. Pius X Preparatory Seminary high school, located in Uniondale, New York. Hannity dropped out of New York University and Adelphi University.
Now in case the paragraph above somehow slipped through your partisan eye cracks, let me paraphrase. HE DROPPED OUT OF NOT ONLY ONE BUT TWO COLLEGES.
Let’s take a look at couple of his high points and quotes.
Hannity hosted his first talk radio show in 1989 at the volunteer college station at UC Santa Barbara, KCSB-FM, while working as a general contractor. That weekly show on KCSB was canceled after less than a year by station managers upset with his remarks about gays and lesbians. This was after two shows featuring the book The AIDS Coverup: The Real and Alarming Facts about AIDS by Gene Antonio. Among other remarks, Hannity told a lesbian caller “I feel sorry for your child”.
Do you really want to align with Seam Hannity? Check out his following quote:
“Barack says we need to have a conversation about race in America. Fair enough. But this time, it has to be a two-way conversation. White America needs to be heard from, not just lectured to. This time, the Silent Majority needs to have its convictions, grievances and demands heard. And among them are these:
First, America has been the best country on earth for black folks. It was here that 600,000 black people, brought from Africa in slave ships, grew into a community of 40 million, were introduced to Christian salvation, and reached the greatest levels of freedom and prosperity blacks have ever known. Reverand Wright ought to go down on his knees and thank God he is an American.
Second, no people anywhere has done more to lift up blacks than white Americans. Untold trillions have been spent since the ’60s on welfare, food stamps, rent supplements, Section 8 housing, Pell grants, student loans, legal services, Medicaid, Earned Income Tax Credits and poverty programs designed to bring the African-American community into the mainstream.”
Are you kidding me? He acts like the African slaves were gathered in a Princess Cruz liner for new jobs in the new land. Like we were given gift certificates to Rent-A-Center and left with LCD Flat Screen TV’s for all. The frightening thing is that there are people out there who will read these comments say to themselves, “Right on, Sean. You got that right.”
He has the audacity to say that people in the black community should be on their knees thanking the white community for bringing our ancestors to America, subjecting them to slavery, denial of humanity, Jim Crow laws, segregation, denial of civil rights, and denial of opportunity. The irony to all this is that some pundits and sympathizers to this way of thinking are gathering now to satisfy their fears because they realize that this isn’t the predominate way of thought anymore. There is actually a steadily dwindling facet of fanatics with this type of brain disease across the board. How could Barack Obama have been elected if that that decreasing number wasn’t the case.
Let’s take a look at another individual now:
Barack Hussein Obama II:
Born August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Following high school, he moved to LA in 1979 to attend Occidental College. After two years he transferred in 1981 to Columbia University in New York City, where he majored in political science with a specialization in International Relations. Obama graduated Columbia University and Harvard Law School. He was selected as an editor of the Harvard Law Review at the end of his first year, and then he was the 1st African American President of the Harvard Law Review after his second year.
Now, if you were to fairly look at the three excerpts of a life from above, who would you trust to better serve you? Hell, who would you trust to bake a potato? That was a rhetorical question. There is no choice. The fact that probably half of the people that read this post will actually find a way to not only even that playing field, but attempt to make the first two idiots appear to be better citizens. Better judges of your character or better suited to lead you into your final destination chapters of our lives.
Rubbish! Anyone who can take these small comparisons and put them in the same ballpark suffer from the same brain damage that The “Boss and Sean” suffer from.
Think people! Don’t let ignorance be your guide. However, if you do want ignorance to be your guide, you can find smarter race baiters than the two aforementioned “fear, hate and stupidity mongering” anal probist.
However, that’s just my opinion, I could be wrong.
I thought I saw a Democrat, I did, I did.

I’m really not sure what I want to be nowadays. I know I’m not a Conservative. I have too much backbone to be a Democrat, and I breathe and exists so I can’t be an independent. What is a guy to do? I could always try to see a middle ground. I could see the glass half full and half empty. I could just ask for another drink. Is there anyone out there that still believes that the 2 1/2 Party scheme is still working? Everyday now there are ridiculous after ridiculous arguments being weighed on the different in the pocket Networks. If you watch CNN or Fox News, you have serious and magnified issues with the views of lets say MSNBC, BET or The Comedy Channel. I haven’t even mentioned the radio. You have Boss Limbaugh poisoning the dwindling faction that still has some “fear mongering, racially ignorant points of view”. Then you’ve got “Mancow” polluting the airwaves of Chicago. Mancow at the very least has admitted, after an on air attempt at being water boarded that lasted all of 5 seconds, that water boarding is torture and that he would have said or told anything to anyone just to get it to stop. I’m not sure if we have an “Invasion of the Body Snatchers” type of scenario going on here or not. I know that all of these Politicos have college educations. I know they have mostly all backgrounds in Law or Journalism. I know that they all love their families and hope for a good future for their grandchildren. How can the views be so fantastically different? Is one side brain damaged and the other a diagnosing physician? Were some of the college degrees bought from the same guy who sold Jack his Beanstalk Beans? I am truly amazed everyday at some of the statements made by some of the people that have a say in how our one and only Country is run. Would it be a stretch to assume that all this bickering between Parties weakens our Country. Confuses our soldiers or poisons minds and warps our thought processes. As a Nation why do we allow this? Isn’t this a nation of the People by the People? I have an idea. How about we start a separate Congress. This time we have the 200 average intelligent Americans that have dreams of a One Party system and they sit down and evaluate the major differences within the 2 parties. I know, this sounds too simple right? The people have no Law degrees? They haven’t been bought out by any lobbyist right? Their not racists or, as Boss Limbaugh would say, reverse racist right? What’s the prerequisite for making decisions that alter lives of the citizens of this Country. It can’t be common sense. Common sense doesn’t have such abstract differences on the same subject or topic. A black man can’t be white and a white man can’t be black. Makes sense? Are you still with me, or has partisanship made it impossible to really understand what I’m getting at here? If you can look in the mirror and say that you honestly disagree, please make a comment and state a better plan. However, try doing it without partisanship as your guide. If you don’t understand what I mean by that: See Common Sense above.
That’s just my opinion, I could be wrong.
Tea Party What? WTF!

OK, where do I start regarding The Tea Party? I watched the TV news coverage of live Tea Party gatherings and I have rarely been more confused and insulted. I actually saw people carry and displaying signs that read, “Obama lied and the economy died”, & “Obama wat you talkin bout Willis raising my taxes”. Are you kidding me? The entire clusterx@$* was all about the fact that they hated that a Black Man was now the President of the United States. Racism to the point of pure madness. The problem I have with some of the completely” MAD” conservatives, is that no matter what the issue is, they either are for it or they really really HATE it. There’s no in between. With the idiotic toxic spewing that comes out of the mouth of RACISTS like Rush “Boss” Limbaugh, they mangle the facts into a truth that is anti Blacks, other minorities and even liberal minded white people. We have had 8 years of complete bullshit and a collected National depreciation. With the exception of some of the Republican Masters of the Universe of course. The deficit went from $4trillion to $7Trillion and none of the Republicans complained or gathered across the States with signs of ignorance and live broadcasts. However, the minute a Black Man is President, all bets are off.
While watching the coverage and the conduct of some of the people at the Republican “Tea Parties”, my concerns were as follows:
It’s broadcast’s to millions of impressionable young men and women that are supposed to move this country forward. To be honest, I was actually surprised to see how many blatant racists there still were in this country. With this type of card carrying extreme conservatism, we will be lucky if it doesn’t produce a bunch of new types of hooligans backed by money with a “Taxi Driver” Travis Bickle type of complex looking to rid the World of the imagined threat of “reverse racism” or “revenge slavery.” That sounds ridiculous doesn’t it? Boss Limbaugh is a large portrait of gas, over indulgence, separatists spewing, drug addicted, hate with belief of moral superiority. It’s either his way, or you’re Black, Hispanic, Foreign or some sort of other minority. Unless you’re one of the above with money, or an African American with “Stockholm Syndrome”. Is this type of lunacy really going to be allowed? President Obama has been President for just a little more than 130 days and already a small contingent of States want to break off from the rest of the Country. Americans should take a survey of the abundance of shit that has happened over the entirety of the last Administration and HONESTLY weigh it versus the direction that we are trying to move on to now. Leave partisanship checked at the door and let the “Sunshine in” people.
However, that’s just my opinion. I could be wrong….
Let’s bring steroids back.

Should sports players be allowed to take performance enhancing drugs? This is argued fluidly amongst players, managers, owners and pundits. I see both points and can find ways to agree with both sides in some aspects. It’s a tough subject, however, in the end I must conclude that allowing the players to take the drugs would end up making it safer, actually, for all those who choose to indulge . Not to mention how much of a more entertaining sport experiences would be. Anyone remember the Mark Magwire Sammy Sosa home run race of 1998? Barry Bond’s record breaking home run season? The wonderful show that is pre-game batting practice? The Home Run Derby the day before the MLB All Star Game?
We must also admit that some players are going to take the drugs anyway and hope to not be caught. There are doctors, physiotherapists and black market drug dealers looking for ways to come up with drugs that cannot be detected by testing as we breathe. These are drugs that will no doubt be more unsafe, simply because there will be no governing force monitoring to check them. They will probably have to be taken in greater doses, which will in most cases bring about the negative physical side effects that are so feared now. (The rage, impotency and more).
If they were allowed, it would allow players to be better monitored and checked out more thoroughly so that there will be fewer negative impacts. You lose little or you lose big. It really comes down to that. Those that say that the players reputations are at stake, or that they will be respected less because they used the drugs, need to try the decaffeinated brand of coffee. I hear it’s just as tasty.
The many of us that still like Jimmy Hendrix and the many other artists who were inspired by drugs at times aren’t gonna like them any less. “Oh the sacred sports records are at stake”! Please! Do you have any idea what the average fastball speed in the days when Ruth set his record was? Not to mention that there were no Blacks or Hispanics playing back then to contribute to the skill levels among the league. No ,Ala Kevin Costner, ungodly breaking balls being thrown by that era of pitchers.
I think Wilt Chamberlain actually slam dunked with with his penis one time when he scored the 100 points in an NBA game. There was no one close to his size. You think he could score the 81 points that Kobe did in today’s NBA? Not a chance.
I guess what I’m actually saying is that as a sports fan across the board, I really wish that other real sports fans will be careful what they wish for. Sometimes if you get it, the ends won’t justify the means.
However, that’s just my opinion. I could be wrong.
